Tell us about your experience before DMI?

I am a marketing and communications expert, leading the entire marketing department at Snap Ireland. I manage both B2B and B2C strategies, overseeing a blend of digital and traditional marketing initiatives. My role is diverse and full of daily challenges, allowing me to thrive in a dynamic environment. In addition to my marketing responsibilities, I also engage in public speaking and manage PR.

Why did you choose to study Search Marketing with Digital Marketing Institute?

I wanted to dive deeper into my understanding of the Google Ads platform, SEO, and the constantly evolving digital marketing landscape


Since completing the course, how has your skills/knowledge and career progressed?

I’ve gained significant confidence in managing Google Ads and making informed decisions to enhance our company’s website, focusing on crucial elements like SEO, domain authority, and page authority. I’ve crafted a strategy that aligns with specific business goals, designed to increase website traffic and amplify our lead generation campaigns. This strategic approach has also equipped me with the skills to track performance more comprehensively, enabling me to quickly identify and troubleshoot any issues. As a result, I’m optimizing our digital presence while driving continuous improvements across our marketing efforts.


What was the most valuable lesson or skill you gained from completing your specialist course?

There were many skills that were learned through the course, to name a few that stood out are how to effectively use long-tail keywords, the do's and don'ts of SEO practices, understanding the google ads platform in depth and the use of google analytics.

How would you describe your time in the Digital Marketing Institute?

It was a great experience, the course was very in-depth and the lessons were incredibly comprehensive.
